About the Role:
As an Events Marketing Intern, you’ll support the planning and execution of educational seminars, client appreciation events, and workshops that are central to our firm’s mission. From RSVP outreach and logistical prep to on-site support and guest interaction, you’ll be an essential part of a high-impact, high-energy team. Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for students who are:
Currently enrolled in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related fields.
Organized, reliable, and passionate about creating high-quality guest experiences.
Comfortable interacting with guests in person and over the phone.
Willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic, hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
Assist with event preparation, logistics, and venue setup/breakdown.
Make phone calls to confirm RSVPs, manage guest lists, and provide professional communication.
Support the team during events—welcoming guests, managing check-in, and providing helpful service.
Occasionally speak in front of small groups to introduce events or provide instructions.
Maintain event documentation, track expenses, and manage inventory and supplies.
Collaborate on outreach materials, mailers, and event promotions.
Participate in post-event debriefs and help refine processes for improved efficiency.
Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (Junior/Senior preferred), OR 1–2 years of customer service, events, or hospitality experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication; confident phone presence.
Ability to lift event supplies and stay on your feet for extended periods.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail); CRM experience is a plus.
